Is Doctor Who ending after this, the 6th season?

I may be confused because of UK versus American wording, but the promotional materials for "A Good Man Goes to War" all say the mid-SERIES finale, rather than the mid-SEASON. However, I've also seen references to each season as the first, second, etc. SERIES. Can someone clear this up? I'm in a bit of a panic.
