Skin Graft after Copperhead bite.?

My 11 year old daughter was bitten by a copper head on her left ring finger. After 6 days in the hospital and antivenom she is scheduled for surgery next week for a skin graft. I was wondering what to expect from this surgery.

for breakfast i had a small bowl of all bran with a quarter ofa cup of milk, at recess i had 200ml of diet vanilla coke, i had a hedgeho slice for lunch (about the size of a small fist) and for dinner i had half a carrot, 2 potatoes and a piece of steak the size of the palm of your hand, not including your fingers. then i had 2 small lindt balls for dessert. how many calories is that?

I tore out part of my DUSOLVABLE INTERNAL stitches by accident, is this a problem?

I had ACL reconstruction surgery using a hamstring graft 3 weeks ago and for the past week I've been picking at this thing that I thought was a scab that was located on the top of my lower incision. I finally got it out today and this clear string came with it. I later realized it was not scab that I had been picking at but the knot where the surgeonhad tied my stitches, it was on the outside of my leg. I took that out and had 1-3 cm of suture material come out too. then a little tiny bit if blood and a clear fluid. I put a band aid on it. is it worth a call to my surgeon or physical therapist seeing how we are doing physical therapy in a dirty public pool now. is infection going to be a problem? is it going to still heal properly? my surgery was on 3/18/2011. thank you

Dormant time is when to take cuttings, after Jan 1 in the northern hemisphere. If I remember correctly the two parts of the tree should be outside together. The refrigeration part is not familiar to me.

How bad is a gum graft? Is it better to be awake or asleep during it?

It's always better to be "out" for any kind of gum work. General anesthetic would be preferable, but if they give you Lidocaine and Nitrous Oxide, you should be fine. There's a good chance you will fall asleep, and even if you don't you'll be so out of it you'll hardly feel it -- IF you feel it at all. One word of warning, however: Make sure you have someone else to take you home. You will be in no condition to drive for at least three hours.
